Site and Operations Engineer(2)

Photons Energy Limited is among the leading EPCs (Engineering, procurement, and Construction) in Tanzania, the company dealing with the provision of services in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector. Particularly Photons Energy Limited provides services that include the design, supply, and installation of solar power systems, solar water pumping systems, and solar water heating systems. It also provides services in the energy efficiency sector which include training, energy audits, and supply of energy-efficient appliances. PEL clients include those in the agricultural business, hospitality industry, academic sector, health sector and C&I projects e.t.c


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Conducting site surveys and doing data analysis
  • Overseeing project implementation on-site
  • Work closely with design Engineers to ensure preparations for site works is done well
  • Inspect the site and ensure that the technicians have all the requirements for site works
  • Support the company’s sales and media team to enhance the marketing strategies
  • Oversee the operations of Photons Energy Dar es Salaam office.
  • Prepare the site completion reports in collaboration with the lead Technician
  • Be the focal point between the client and the company management
  • Assist the design team in doing systems simulations and drawings.
  • Regularly visit sites, hear the client opinions, and report to the management
  • Keep the records for the Maintenance works required for various sites
  • Prepare in-house training and recommend other training to the technicians.
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Any other duties relevant to your role that may be assigned by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in any of the following fields: Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, work independently prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with management at all levels.
