Solar energy is natural energy from SUN. It is radiant light and heat that can be harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar water heating system, solar thermal energy and Photovoltaic Solar water heating systems works by utilizing solar power system energy in form of heat to heat water in collector. Solar water heating system consists of collector and storage tank and these systems can either be direct system or indirect system. Photovoltaic on the other hands is simply conversion of sunlight into electricity. Solar modules works by allowing Photons (particles of light) to knock electron free from atom which in turns generate a flow of electricity. The generated electricity is direct current electricity which can be utilized to charge the batteries using charge controllers.
Only distilled water is supposed to be added to a battery cell when the level of electrolyte drops. Acid is only put into the battery once at the start and because it does not evaporate, it is not recommended to add any acid into the battery cell.
Only distilled water is supposed to be added to a battery cell when the level of electrolyte drops. Water with minerals or impurities will change the contents of electrolyte and might lead to failure of battery.
Sunlight on photovoltaic modules produces direct current (DC) electricity which is converted to alternating current (AC) by a device called an inverter, which is then wired into your main service panel where it feeds your internal power grid.
Solar power system can work without batteries but will only work when there is sunshine. Off-grid battery-less systems however are useless as no one can guarantees constant insulation and there can be only few hours with sunshine. Battery less-grid tied systems are however common and work well because there is an alternate source to provide boost when sunlight fluctuates.
